Expert Water Repiping in Savannah, GA

Water repiping replaces aging or failing pipes throughout your home with modern materials that restore clean water flow and steady pressure. Putts Plumbing serves Hellman Bluff, a Long Beach neighborhood packed with Craftsman bungalows and Spanish Colonial homes built between 1911 and the mid-20th century. Pipes in homes this age are often galvanized steel, which corrodes from the inside out over decades, shedding rust and sediment into your water supply. When you see discolored water, hear banging in the walls, or deal with repeated leaks in different spots, those are signs the whole system is wearing out, not just one section. We inspect your current plumbing, map out which lines need full replacement, and run new pipe through walls and crawl spaces with minimal disruption. Whether you own a single-family bungalow near Craftsman Village or a multi-unit property off East 7th Street, a full repipe stops the cycle of patchwork repairs. Call Putts Plumbing to schedule a plumbing inspection in Hellman Bluff today.

Water Repiping FAQ

Common questions about water repiping in Savannah, GA.

If you are seeing discolored water, low pressure, and leaks in multiple spots, your pipes are likely failing as a system, not in one isolated place. A plumbing inspection by Putts Plumbing will confirm whether a full repipe or a targeted repair is the right move for your Long Beach home.

Yes, homes built before the 1960s in Long Beach often still have original galvanized steel pipes that corrode from the inside over time. If your Hellman Bluff property is in that age range, a plumbing assessment from Putts Plumbing is a smart first step.

Small access points in walls, ceilings, or crawl spaces are needed to reach and replace existing pipes. Our team at Putts Plumbing keeps those openings as minimal as possible throughout your Hellman Bluff home.

Most homeowners remain in their homes during a repipe, though you should expect brief water shut-offs while sections are replaced. Putts Plumbing will walk you through what to expect before work begins at your Hellman Bluff property.

Brown, yellow, or reddish water from the tap is a clear sign of internal pipe corrosion in your Long Beach home. Recurring leaks in different areas, low water pressure, and a metallic taste in your water are additional warning signs worth acting on.

Updated plumbing is a strong selling point, especially in older Hellman Bluff homes where buyers and inspectors often flag aging pipe materials. A completed repipe by Putts Plumbing removes a common red flag during the home sale process.

I used Putts plumbing a few times and they are very consistent, courteous, and user friendly. This first trip was to fix a water line leak. Alex and Anthony came out, saw the problem and they fixed it plus made some adjustments to fit my new cabinet better. After my kitchen remodel was done, Bryce and Anthony came out to seal the sink and install all plumbing for sink, faucet, garbage disposal and dishwasher. They arrived on time, removed their dirty boots at the door, my previous plumbers never did that, and got to work. Very courteous. My tenants made a comment that they “really like these guys instead of Dyess” so Putts is my go to now. Highly recommend.

What an excellent company! The nicest service people ever and fairly priced and excellent work. The estimate exactly met my expectations and even came in on the cheap side. And their people are just a joy to work with. And they're quick! I booked them the same week and when I had a plumbing emergency, they came within a couple hours to install a new water heater. And then today they installed a dishwasher and the Plumbing and Electric were a bit dated and difficult. But Bryce handled it beautifully.

Company that came to assess and repair a 2nd floor master bathroom flood that leaked into the ceiling of the 1st floor referred me to Putts. The gentleman, Dom, that came not only came expeditiously but he was also very courteous and professional. He worked harmoniously alongside the team from the other company, did what needed to be done, and was out of the door in a flash. He removed the obstruction that caused the flooding. The spontaneous service call was fairly priced in my opinion. You need a plumber in Chatham? No if's, and's, or but's..call PUTTS!

The replacement of our water heater was completed within three hours. Floor covering was used to protect our rugs while removing old water heater and moving in new unit. Clean up was handled properly and water drained from old tank was directed outside via a long hose. Overall the process was handled well and I recommend Putts Plumbing. Installation cost was competitive

I was so pleased with Dom at Putts Plumbing! I asked my daughter for a plumber recommendation, and she sure delivered with the Putts number. I called Dom late on Monday and he was here first thing on Tuesday. Dom was knowledgeable and efficient - he quickly assessed the problem, set up a temporary fix while a permanent part was ordered, and the job was fully done on Thursday. I will only give Putts my business from now on!
